Interesting Search Numbers on some of my articles
I’ve been running some analytic software on my site for about 2 weeks now (I’ll have a write in a few weeks) and it’s not Google analytics or some other third party and have found some interesting numbers especially on traffic coming to my site from Google.
The traffic redirected to my site from Google is basically for only two of my articles, but I was amazed at the ranking since the search term are pretty specific.
First up we have “GNU Screen and byobu“. I would like to again thank x_fausto for publishing a great article on byobu which introduced me to such a great product.
Rank – Search keyword
1st – byobu freebsd
1st – byobu paste buffer
4th – byobu list session
3rd – byobu tutorial
7th – byobu ctrl-a bindings
Next we have “Manga: Mouryou no Yurikago”
Rank – Search keyword
3rd – mouryou no yurikago
5th – mouryou no yurikago death toll
6th – [sanbe kei] cradle of monsters
8th – sanbe kei cradle of monsters
17th – “cradle of monsters”
For now I won’t publish any other numbers from my analytic output because it’s pretty sad how little traffic my content generates. Hopefully that will change in time.
